The Wild Beast Feast competition is held every September at the North Texas State Fairgrounds and benefits the Greater Denton Arts Council, which promotes the artistic, cultural, and educational life of Denton. Newland Real Estate enjoys participating in the event as a great opportunity to support the community that supports them. This year the Newland team prepared outstanding elk and alligator for those with adventurous appetites, as well as cheese grits and fried apples.
Newland Real Estate received the "Best of Beast" title in 2009, along with 1st Place belt buckles and the honor of hosting "Dude" for one year, a 3-foot-tall plush armadillo Beast Feast mascot.
